The Founder Dating meetup is designed to help connect the right tech startup partners with each other and with the right ideas at the right time. We provide a forum for founders of high tech startups to connect with potential co-founders and (to a lesser degree) with capital sources. A founder is a person with an idea that they wish to turn into a viable company. A cofounder is a person looking to use their energy and talent to create a great company based on someone else’s idea. Capital sources are looking to fund these great companies, and to profit from their success.
To facilitate these connections, we have formed Founder Dating. Users of the site can search for entrepreneurial business partners with complementary skillsets, and can find potential candidates much more efficiently than in typical press-the-flesh networking events. If this work hard/play hard crowd sounds like you, then come on in. Register, fill out your profile, and decide for yourself.
What are you working on? Tell us about it. What skills and people do you need to get it off the ground? They might well be here.
For more information about our philosophy and how Founder Dating works, see our About page.
To register, sign up at right and click the confirmation link that you receive via email. Once you’re registered, visit your Profile and spend some time filling in your detailed profile. This information is the key to being found by compatible entrepreneurs, so it’s important to fill out the sections that are relevant to your skills and experience.
Good luck–and here’s hoping you build something amazing!
